Moto GP 2013

After a busy summer the Moto GP gig went down a STORM! Firing Line were on fire for the event and the 8,000+ strong crowd seemed to love the show. There was singing, bouncing and even a cowboys and indians circle mosh-pit throughout, although the crowd really came to life when the band announced that they were going to play a new song called “Hope You’re Warm” and were going to record the crowd for the upcoming iTunes release. Kate’s extended improvised Saxophone solo in “Fire” caused a real electricity to surge throughout the arena and the two-hour long set climaxed with an anthemic rendition of “Mr. Brightside”. Firing Line will be back at the Moto GP and the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone next summer but in the meantime check out their new EP on iTunes, featuring the crowd from the Moto GP 2013 and two other tracks. Keep an eye on upcoming events for the latest gig announcements.

New Firing Line Website!

A new era in the history of the band and a new website to usher it in. A week on Friday Firing Line will be playing the biggest gig they’ve done to date, the MOTO GP at Silverstone. With an expected capacity crowd of around 10,000 people they’ll be taking to the stage as a five-piece, with the added bonus of keyboards, a brass section and more backing vocals to add to Mark’s dulcet tones.

It’s been a good year for Firing Line already, with the FA Cup Final under their belts, but there’s way more to come, take a look around, listen to some songs and send the band a message or two.
